Allergies are both annoying, costly and at times embarrassing, so here are some ways in which you are able to limit the affect of allergic reactions on your life:
Lets’ start really simple. Frequently vacuum your work and living premises. Sometimes cleaning can irritate particular allergies but make sure that you do clean your house frequently because in the long run it will definetely reduce ther allergens present. Try to get a vacuum cleaner that comes with a built in filter. After you finish cleaning you may want to leave the house for a while whilst the dust settles. Dusting along with vacuuming also helps reduce the number of dust mites in your house.
Pay attention to how much time you spend mixing with pets and animals. At the very least if you are fond of pest ban them from your bedroom as letting them go there there puts you at considerable risk. Reduce and keep top a mimimum the amount of time that you spend together withe animals and the contact you have with their skin, fur, saliva and such like.
Make sure you try to reduce the moisture level in your house. By decreasing humidity levels particularly in the bathroom and kitchen you can decrease the chances of mold growing. Using a home dehumidifier is highly recommended (ebac dehumidifiers and delonghi dehumidifiers come highly recommended). Also make sure that there are no leaking pipes and clean surfaces often with a disenfectant.
It would be smart to ensure your doors and windows are closed if you have ever encountered pollen on your window sills. Try to have your aircon running instead and use one that has an easily cleaned and changeable filter.
Ensure that you check your chosen destination for the local areas pollen count in advance. Pollen counts will be highest between 10am and 4pm so try to go outside at other times if possible. Ensure that windows are tightly shut when driving.
If there are high winds and high humidity try to stay inside as pollen and dust are more likely to be present then. You can also travel outside of the peak times mentioned to avoid the poorer air quality. You may even wish to consider wearing a face mask if you really suffer a great deal. After getting home from a day out take a shower soon to get rid of dust and pollen that might have gathered on your skin.
When going on holiday make sure that you also check the pollen count at the destination and be especially aware that you may need to take particular care when going to tropical detinations. These may have elevated levels of mold spores due to excess moisture.
By following these simple guidleines you can help yourself to avoid much unneccesary suffering quite easily.
